Alpage is a design atelier translating archival prints into contemporary accessories, founded by Emily McMaster and Emma Rothkopf. The collection centers on scarves, stoles, and handkerchiefs made to be worn daily and kept for a long time.
Our work begins with fabric and print, drawing from historical textiles and vintage references, then refining them through modern scale, color, and proportion. Each piece balances tradition with clarity, feeling both grounded and current.
We use natural fibers such as wool, silk, and cotton for their comfort, durability, and the way they age with wear. The palette is inspired by nature and softened archival tones so each piece integrates easily into a wardrobe.
Alpage is about thoughtful translation, material honesty, and creating accessories that feel useful, enduring, and quietly special.
